Seated in the hills of the Nagano Prefecture on the Japanese island of Honshu, Joshin’etsukogen National Park is a wonderland of lush greenery and fantastic wildlife. Just 30 miles East of Nagano, Snow monkeys (Japanese macaque), Shinto shrines, beautiful mountain vistas, and thick green vegetation during the summer or loads of snow during winter are commonplace in this gateway to Mother Nature.
